Yeah I am also a little unclear on where to go with this. I looked at module 2 and it said this is going to be an on going project that we will be revising as needed so maybe started broad would be a good idea and then we could narrow everything down as we need to.
I do think that if we had to pick something to focus on growing fruits and/or vegetables would be fun. Kids have a great time planting and then watching a food grow, they can actually see a reward for their effort.
So we have to make a concept map and then attach it to our blog, correct? Katie it sounded like you were working on that do you need any help or should one of us be working on that? I like all the ideas that you had so far. Somethings that I think could be added to the concept map would be:

-Kinds of fruits or veggies (plants) like midwest vs tropical etc
-How often a plant would need to be watered
-How much sunlight/shade a plant needs to do the best

  1. Angelina said that she would do the first concept map in case you didn't read that. I was just giving out ideas to get it started.

I agree on the growing fruits and vegetables. I'm in early childhood (I'm not sure about the two of you) so anything elementary would be amazing! I think to start out with it should be simple, and then if we need to add more as we continue, we'll do it then.

Angelina, do you need help with the concept map or are you good? It's been a while since I've done one--the connecting words/phrases were always the hardest for me. Let me know if you have anymore questions!!
